BIOGRAPHY

Since I was a child, I thought trees touched the sky. Only now do I understand that this is purely true… Today I rise to the highest heights thanks to some guitarists who make their woods vibrate.

To place in the hands of an artist the possibility of moving the soul of a full audience is the dream of any luthier. To these guitarists and to those who try, I give my thanks for their unique search for sound.

I was born in Ghent (Belgium) in 1944.

I began as a guitar student of Maestro Nicolás Alfonso at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.  Later, I became a classical guitar teacher at the Academy of Music of Brussels and a concert performer with some great successes in the 1970s. After some time, I returned to the world of the guitar through lutherie, studying this art at the CMB school in Puurs with Maestro Walter Verreydt for nearly 10 years.

In the guitar, there are no secrets, only mysteries. For me as well.

Currently, I live in the province of Murcia with the passionate desire to continue searching for the finest vibrations in life.
